Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how Branscum Labs collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through the PeerSure website, account administration workflows, and related public materials. This notice does not replace any separate customer agreement, business associate agreement, or privacy obligations that apply to a specific customer deployment.

1. Information we collect

Contact and business information

Name, work email, organization, title, phone number, and information you submit when requesting access, a demo, support, or trust materials.

Account and administrator information

Authentication identifiers, organization membership, role metadata, and account settings associated with enterprise access.

Technical and device information

IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, access timestamps, and diagnostic or security-related events.

Communications

Messages you send to us, support requests, trust questionnaires, and related business correspondence.

2. How we use information

  • To provide and secure the site and enterprise services.
  • To authenticate users, provision accounts, and manage organizational access.
  • To respond to inquiries, support requests, and trust or procurement reviews.
  • To monitor performance, detect abuse, investigate incidents, and improve reliability and security.
  • To comply with law, enforce contracts, and protect our rights, users, and systems.

3. How we disclose information

  • To service providers that support hosting, authentication, security, communications, and enterprise operations.
  • To your organization or authorized administrators in connection with enterprise account management.
  • When required by law, legal process, or governmental request.
  • In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business.
  • To protect the rights, security, or integrity of our users, services, organization, or the public.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies that are reasonably necessary to operate the site, support authentication, maintain session state, measure performance, and protect against abuse. Update this section if you deploy analytics, advertising, or other tracking tools.

5. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, to comply with law, to resolve disputes, to enforce agreements, and to support legitimate business or security needs. Enterprise customer retention periods may be governed by contract, configuration, or documented retention schedules.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information appropriate to the nature of the services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Regulated and PHI-enabled deployments

This public Privacy Notice is not a substitute for HIPAA obligations, customer-specific privacy terms, or any applicable business associate agreement. Deployments that may involve protected health information should use approved environments, executed agreements where applicable, and documented access, logging, retention, and incident procedures before live PHI is used.

8. Your choices

You may request updates to your contact or account-administration information by contacting us. Enterprise users should also contact their organization administrator for role, access, or provisioning changes.

9. Changes to this Notice

We may update this Notice from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, take additional steps to provide notice.
